ASHEBORO - Leona Bledsoe Baker, 83, of Hill St., Asheboro, died Friday, Oct. 24, 2003, at Randolph Hospital.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro, with the Rev. Chris Maxey and the Rev. Larry Acord Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.

She was a native of Princeton, W.Va., and the widow of Thomas Lee Baker. She attended Asheboro Holiness Missionary Church.

Surviving are daughters, Linda Martin of Dallas, Thelma Summey of Trinity; sons, Daniel Baker and Jeff Baker, both of Asheboro, Arthur Baker of Morganton; sister, Lucille Lester of Jesse, W.Va.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; five step grandchildren.

The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
