Per SC Death Certificate 9796 - stated child accidentally fell into a tub of water and drowned.
A little child of Mr. and Mrs. Will Plyler of the Bethel section was drowned in a bucket of water last Saturday. The child which was about 18 months old, was playing in the yard while the mother was busy with her house work. The child fell into the bucket which was used for watering stock. In a few minutes the mother found it in an unconscious condition. Before help could be had the little child died. Mr. Plyler is the son of Mrs. Jane Plyler and no harder working man or more honest man lives in this section. The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Plyler sympathize with them in their great bereavement.
