Born in Preston, ID in 1917 to Jesse P. and Louise Rogers Rich. Married LeGrand J. Baer on June 16, 1940 in the Logan temple. Graduated from Logan High School, attended LDS Business College, worked as a secretary for many businesses throughout her life. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints served faithfully in many callings. Served four missions with her husband; Western Samoa, Dearborn, Michigan, Washington, DC Temple twice.
Survived by her husband, children, Ronald (Kathy), WI, Elna Kaye Holmes (Paul), Ralph (Lynette), Brenda Munk (Richard), Joe (Brendalyn), Jesse (Liz), Trudy; twenty-four grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and sisters, Rhea Garr (Logan), Larelle Rich (AZ), Yvonne Quayle (MD). Preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sheila; three brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2001 at 12:00 p.m. in the Cottonwood Eighth Ward Chapel, 6310 South 2300 East. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2001 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Holladay-Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 South Highland Drive, on Wednesday from 11:00-11:45 a.m. at the chapel.
