Jerome Holzschuh, 45, of Clifford St., Sheboygan Falls, a mechanic at Martin Pontiac, Inc., died at St. Nicholas Hospital at 8 p.m. Tuesday. He had been taken to the hospital after becoming ill ay work in the morning.

Born Feb. 21, 1918, I the town of Lima, he was the son of the late George and Petronella Holzschuh. He attended Falls public schools and was a graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1937. He married the former Katherine Pongraz at St. Mary's Catholic Church there on Nov. 15, 1947.

A veteran of World War II, Mr. Holzschuh served in the Air Force for 3 ½ years. He was employed at the Richardson Lumber Co. and for the past 15 years at Martin Pontiac, Inc.

Mr. Holzschuh was a member of St. Mary's Church, the Holy Name Society, the Usher's Society and St. Vincent DePaul Society.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Pamela, at home; a brother, Eugene, Sheboygan Falls; and four sisters, Mrs. Albert Burich Brillion, Fred Wiltgen, Sheboygan Falls, Mrs. Milton Friedrichs Sheboygan and Mrs. Clarence Wolter, Santa Ana Calif.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Church, following brief family rites at 9:30 at the Dean Funeral Home. The Rev. Harold Herbst, pastor of St. Mary's will be celebrant of the requiem high Mass. Burial will be made in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday.

The ST. Vincent De Paul Society will hold a vigil at 7:30 p.m. and the Holy Name and Usher's Society at 8 p.m. Thursday.
