DEER PARK, Alabama — Three people died and three others were critically injured in this rural Washington County community during Friday night's severe storms when a tornado lifted a double-wide mobile home several feet into the air and slammed it into an oak tree 100 yards away.

Those killed were Jean Box and two of her children, Sheldon, 14, and Hunter, 11. The survivors were Greg Box, Jean's husband, and the couple's eldest daughter, Taylor, 17. A friend of Taylor's who was staying at the house, Shelby, 17, also was critically injured.

All three remained in critical condition at University of South Alabama Medical Center on Saturday afternoon.

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - UPDATE: (Saturday, 12:52pm) Family members have identified those lost in Friday's deadly storms which hit Washington County. Jean Box and her two of her children, Sheldon, 14, and Hunter, 12, were killed.
The father, Greg Box, and 17 year-old Taylor were injured along with Taylor's 17 year-old friend who was visiting the home at the time of the storm.
Box, his wife and four children were inside their mobile home on Box Road in Deer Park when the storm hit.
Haley Box, Hunter's twin, was not injured during the storm. Authorities say she was not at home when the severe weather hit.
The National Weather Service says it happened around 8:15 p.m. Doppler Radar indicates a tornado was passing through that area at the same time.
