GOLDEN VALLEY - Barbara J. Mass, age 66, of Golden Valley, formerly of Brainerd.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Ethel Mass, and her sister Judy Mass.
She is survived by her life partner, Diane Nelson; sister, Rosella (John) Murray; brothers, Robert (Kate) and Leo (Marj) Mass; Diane's sister, Deborah (Dave) Sorensen; 17 nieces and nephews; nine great-nieces and nephews; two aunts; one uncle; numerous cousins and many friends.
Celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006, at the Edina Community Lutheran Church, 4113 W. 54th St., Edina. Another service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14, at Park United Methodist Church in Brainerd, Minn. A private interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd.
Memorials are preferred to the Cremation Society of Minnesota.
