Robert A. Nelson
Robert A. Nelson, aged 35, Volant R. D. 2, died Saturday, November 4, at 4:30 p.m. in the Mercer Cottage hospital from pneumonia, being sick only a few days. Mr. Nelson was born in Washington township, Lawrence county, July 7, 1898, the son of Newton and Anna Armstrong Nelson, and had lived his entire life in the community, where he was well known and well-liked by all who knew him. He was married three years ago to Margaret Wilkin, who preceded him in death. A brother, William A. Nelson, died in France, December 2, 1918. He is survived by his parents; one son, Donald Wilkin Nelson; two sisters, Margaret F. Dale of Grove City R. D. 2 and Mrs. Anna S. Rogers at home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the residence, Volant R. D. 2, with Rev. A. I. Dickinson and Rev. Bell in charge. Interment will be made in the Plaingrove cemetery.
