Candice Harms disappeared after she left the home of her former boyfriend, near the University of Nebraska in Lincoln on Sept. 22, 1992. She was sexually assaulted, strangled and shot. Roger Bjorklund was sentenced to death for the 1992 murder of Candice Harms. Roger died in prison in 2002 of heart failure. Bjorklund's accomplice, Scott Barney, was given a life sentence for his role in Harms' abduction and murder. Harms attended Pius X High School.
