RAY EARL NESBITT - Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today for Ray Nesbitt, 58, who died Thursday morning at his home in Chicago, following a heart attack. The last rites were held in the Konitzer and Rowland funeral home in Chicago and burial was in the Acacia cemetery, Chicago.
Mr. Nesbitt was a native of Carroll county. He was born May 15, 1894, in Washington township, the son of Charles and Agnes Nesbitt. On September 20, 1923, he was married to Alta Althoff of Pearl City. They moved to Chicago in 1923.
He is survived by his wife; two sisters, Mrs. James McCall and Mrs. Herman Toepfer, both of Mt. Carroll, and two brothers, Harry, Clinton, Iowa, and Charles, Sterling. Ray and Alta did not have any children.
