Floyd R. Conklin, 70, of Sycamore R. D. 1, was dead on arrival at Greene County Memorial Hospital at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 1966, after becoming ill at his home. Although he had not been in the best of health, his death was unexpected.

Mr. Conklin, a son of Charles T. and Lucy Lewis Conklin, was born April 27, 1896, in Morris Township. He resided most of his life in the Sycamore area, where he was a farmer. He was a member of the Hopewell Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Fannie Breese Conklin, whom he married Sept. 1, 1920, three sons, Earl E., of Sycamore, R. D. 1, Ralph O., of Garrison, and Kenneth H., of Mansfield, Ohio; a foster son, Thomas F. Roberts, of Seneca Falls, N. Y.; nine grandchildren, and a sister, Blanche, wife of Clay Smith, of Sycamore, R. D. 1.
