Noble William Morris, 72, of Springdale died Jan. 26, 1990, at Springdale. He was born Aug. 25, 1917, in Drakes Creek, the son of William Simpson and Nina Agnes Johnson Morris. He was a retired machinist for Crane Co. and a Nazarene. He moved to Springdale 16 years ago from Bentonville.
Survivors include his widow, Dorothy Morris of the home; two sons, Wendall Morris Phillips of Little Rock and David Morris of Bella Vista; one stepson, Gary Millsap of Wichita Falls, Tex.; three daughters, Juanita Clark of Fayetteville, Shirley Poley of Houston and Cindy Hinkle of Bentonville; three step-daughters, Phyllis Forsee of Bentonville, Patty Pitts of Fayetteville and Beverly Smith of Springdale; three sisters, Alma Cate and Myrtha Byars, both of Springdale and Nina R. Langham of Goshen; eight grandchildren; ten stepgrandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
Services were Monday, Jan. 29, at Sisco Chapel of Springdale with the Rev. James Heckathorn officiating. Burial was in Elm Springs Cemetery.
