Arletha "Lee" Hathorn Weir, 68, of Cave Springs, died Friday, September 4, 1998 in Northwest Medical Center, Springdale. She was born August 12, 1930 in Huntsville, the daughter of Mike Magual Becerra and Eula Grace Hopper Beccerra. "Lee" was a hairdresser for many years and enjoyed painting and farming. She attended Highland Park Assembly of God Church in Fayetteville. She was a lifetime resident of Northwest Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene Hathorn in 1992.

Survivors include her husband, Harley Keith Weir, of Cave Springs; a daughter, Debra Lynn Hathorn Brewer, of Cain Hill; a stepson, Stephen Craig Weir of Fayetteville; a brother, Hasting D. Becerra of Prineville, Oregon; two sisters, Oleda M. Phillips of Aurora, Carolyn Binam of Prineville, Oregon; and two grandchildren, Zachary Lewis Brewer and Emily Rose Brewer, both of Cain Hill.

Graveside service was at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8 in the Elm Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Pat Robertson and Rev. Dean Jones officiating.
