Leighton was neither absent nor tardy during the school year 1911-12, he was 11 years old
Leighton S. Hughart, 88, of Clintonville, Greenbrier County, died July 22, 1988, in Denmar Hospital after a long illness. He was a member of James Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a retired farmer. Surviving: several neices and nephews. Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, with Rev. Sterling Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Cemetery.
