Alice Clarno Wilson passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the age of 95. Alice was born on July 31, 1915 in Gold Beach, Oregon, to Walter and Caroline Clarno. She moved with her family to Madera, CA in 1925. Alice was a graduate of Madera High School class of 1934. In 1936 Alice married Bryon Wilson; they were married for 47 years. Later she married her second husband Perry Davis. Alice leaves behind her loving companion of the last 16 years, Bill January. She was a member of Madera Rebekah Lodge for over 60 years; Alice was brought into the Lodge by her lifelong friend Bea Tune. She was an avid potter, traveler, photographer and gardener. Alice was a loving mother to her children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, William Clarno and her sister Alonia McDonough. Alice is survived by her two sons, George Wilson and his wife Rita of Madera, Gerald Wilson and his wife Gloria of Yuma, AZ, her two daughters, Joyce Dunn of Madera and Christine Janzen and her husband Carl of Madera. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In the obituary the family expressed a special "Thank You", to Alice's granddaughter, Kathy McAvoy for being a loving caregiver for the last years of Alice's life.
