She was born Aug. 1, 1887 near Gridley and had lived in Osage City since 1962 when she moved here from Burlington.
Mrs. Volland was a member of the Osage City United Methodist Church.
She was married to Louis Volland on March 14, 1914 at Gridley. He died in August of 1937.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Virgil Rogers, Topeka, and Mrs. Clyde Ross, Osage City; 2 sons, Virgil A. Volland, Junction City, and L. Theo Volland, Prairie Village; 3 brothers, William Varvel, Burlington, Waldo Varvel, Bartlesville, Okla. and Ralph Varvel, Olney, Ill; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at Jones Funeral Home, Burlington with burial in Graceland Cemetery, Burlington.
