News of the death Thursday, September 19, in Denver, Colo., of Roy A. Mitchell, 43, was received in Chattanooga Thursday night. Funeral services will be held in the Colorado city Saturday afternoon.
Mr. Mitchell was former Chattanoogan, having moved to Denver several years ago. He is survived by his wife and one daughter in Denver, a daughter in Los Angeles, his parents and a sister, also in Denver, and a sister, Mrs. J. L. Weed, of Chattanooga.

Roy A. Mitchell, of Denver, Colo., a former resident of Chattanooga and brother of Mrs. J. L. Weed, 502 Allison Street, North Chattanooga, died in Denver Thursday morning, according to information received here yesterday.
Mr. Mitchell had been in ill health for several years. He and his family left here about ten years ago, seeking better health in the new clime.
He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Frances; his father, H. H. Mitchell; a brother, H. O. Mitchell, and a sister, Mrs. M. A. Bovey, all of Denver; a brother, S.K. Mitchell, of Los Angeles, and his sister, Mrs. Weed, of this city. Funeral and interment will take place Monday in Denver.
