Born to Raymond C. and Lela Mae Bradshaw nee Blasdell in Calf Creek Texas on April 11, 2011.
His family moved to Schulenburg in 1942 and to Houston in 1953 where Don graduated from John Reagan High School.
He joined the U.S. Navy in 1954 and reached the rank of Signalman Petty Officer 1st Class. He served 2 tours in the far east including Korea. He served as Commander of V.F.W. Post 8554, American Legion Post 285 and was a life member of Disabled American Veterans chapter 167 of Texas.
Mr. Bradshaw is survived by his son Raymond Don Bradshaw Jr. and his wife Lynn, granddaughter Sarah Danielle Bradshaw, several nieces and nephews.
Don is preceded in death by his Parents, Raymond C. and Lela Mae Bradshaw, brothers Billy and Bobby Bradshaw and sister, June Koenig.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hext Cemetery in Hext, TX.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Don's name.
