MOUNTAIN VIEW—Funeral services for Charles C. Andrews were Friday, July 14, 1995 at 11 a.m. in the Mountain View First Ward Chapel. Interment followed in the Fort Bridger Cemetery.

Andrews, 82, died July 9 at the Evanston Regional Hospital.

He was born Sept. 1, 1912, the son of John Aiken and Augusta Amelia (Berntson) Andrews.

He married Beulah Grimmett in LaGrande, Ore., Oct. 17, 1934. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. She preceded him in death April 23, 1994.

In 1942 through 1945, during World War II, he moved to Portland, Ore., and worked in the aircraft factories building B-17 and B-26 Bombers.

He was a member of the LDS Church where he served in several bishoprics, and did genealogy work. He was active in Rotary International, and his hobbies were woodworking, hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He had been employed at WalMart in the automotive department.

He is survived by three sons, Robert Andrews of Seattle, Douglas Andrews of Rock Springs and Charles “Chuck” Andrews of Spokane and a daughter, Diane Gordon of Glendale, Ariz.

Also surviving are 19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
