Armenda E. Brigman, 88, of Georgetown, passed away at 3:37 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home.

She was born Feb. 2, 1923 to Isaac A and Mary Frances Hardaway West in Athens, Alabama. She married Raymond Brigman on Jan. 29, 1943 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He passed away on Aug. 12, 1967. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jimmie Brigman; her granddaughter, Tina Warren; her great-grandson, Mickey Warren; four brothers and one sister.

She is survived by sons, Carl (Elaine) Brigman of Catlin and Johnny (Patty Coppell) Brigman of Danville; daughters, Mary "Wanda" ("Del" bert) Lindsay, Arlene Underwood and Linda (Kevin Gossar) Hinkle, all of Georgetown; grandchildren, Teresa (Paul) Gaukstad of Jordan, Minnesota, Jim Lindsay of Indianapolis, Robert (Michelle Woods) Thompson of Danville, Adam Underwood of Georgetown, Brian (Katy) Watson of Lincoln, California, Brad Watson of Georgetown, Carla (Chris Rihm) Pollock of Danville, Jimmie Ray Jr. Brigman of Danville, Ryan Brigman, Shawn Brigman of Danville and Stacey Brigman of Danville; great-grandchildren, Holden Lindsay, Mindy Gaukstad, Kara Lindsay, Brian Gaukstad, Haylee Watson, Natalie Rihm and Ryan Jr. Brigman and her sister, Reba Landtroop of Michigan City, Indiana.
