DIXON - Helen L. Geisler, 96, of Dixon, died Friday, July , 2011, at KSB Hospital, Dixon.

Helen was born June 5. 1915, in Sublette, the daughter of Adolph and Nettie (Kromm) Gehant. She married Maynard Geisler on July 2, 1940, in Dixon. He preceded her in death on April 28, 1995.

Survivors include one sister, Beverly (Jack) Smith, Dixon; 11 nephews; seven nieces; and special friend and caregiver, Marilyn Gennaro of Dixon.

Helen also was preceded in death by five brothers, Bob, Bill, Ken, Donald and Stan; and two sisters, Elzora and Millicent.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, Dixon. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. Vincent O. Marrandino, director of pastoral care at KSB Hospital, Dixon, officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Dixon.

A memorial has been established to KSB Hospice.
