Norene Ross Paul, 97, of Dallas passed away Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009. She was born Aug. 25, 1912, in Frost to Harvey and Mary Ross. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Paul; parents, Harvey and Mary Ross; brothers, W. A. Ross and Harvey C. Ross; and sisters, Erin Ross Herrington, Edith Ross Mitchell and Ila Ross Butler.
She was born and raised in Frost where she grew up on the family farm and graduated from Frost High School. She later then moved to Lake Charles, La., then onto Boston and New York where she spent most of her adult life. She then moved to Dallas where she made her home. She was a devoted member of Skillman Avenue Church of Christ. She also enjoyed cooking and home making and her church family.
