Lewis A. Beard, 83, of near Hopewell, died at 11:00 o'clock Wednesday night at his home one fourth mile west of the Hopewell church. He had been an invalid for the last four years. He was the father of Mrs. Elby Record of this place. The funeral will be held at the Hopewell church Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock with Rev. Lineberry and Rev. Schenck officiating. Eugene Martin, Kenneth Engler and Kenneth Fugit, grandsons-in-law, will be pallbearers. Burial will be in the Hopewell cemetery.
