Carl owned and operated the 76 Service Station at Route 18 and State Road in Medina, OH. He worked for Elm Farm Dairy and later was a truck driver for Smith Dairy, retiring in 2005 following 26 years of service. He also had been a farmer most of his working life.
Surviving Carl are three daughters, Cheryl (Jerry) Wallon of Seville, Ohio, and Carol and Carla Frye, both of Mansfield, Ohio; six grandchildren, Shawna, Stephen, Sarah, Chelsey, Savannah and Tristen; brother Charlie Howard Frye of Majorsville, W.Va.; sister Kathrine Frye (Bill) Carter of Cannonsburg; nephews Billy Carter and Bryan (Nicole) Carter; and great-nieces Chloe and Brynn Carter.
