Jacksonville - Services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Morgan Whiteside DeBord, 63, of Jacksonville will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at K.L. Brown Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Harvey Brown officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. The fammily will receive friends from 5 to 9 tonight at the funeral home where the body will be through services.

Mrs. DeBord died today at Jacksonville Hospital.

Survivors include four daughters. Mrs. Peggy Rigdon and Mrs. Sandra Nance both of Jacksonville, Mrs. Charlotte Capps of Greenville and Mrs. Wendy Perry of Alconbury, England; two sons, William E. Whiteside of Jacksonville and Marion J. Whiteside of San Angelo, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Josephine Owen of Annison; two brothers, Arthur Morgan and James Morgan both of Montgomery; and 10 grandchildren.

Mrs. DeBord was a resident of Calhoun County most of her life and was a member of White's Gap Baptist Church in Jacksonville. Mrs. DeBord was the widow of the late D.E. Whiteside, former Police chief of Jacksonville who was killed in the line of duty.
