Mrs. Margaret Florence Armstrong, aged 76 years, widow of J. G. Armstrong, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lyle Dight near Plaingrove, at 8:30 o'clock Monday night, culminating six months of illness. Mrs. Armstrong was born at Plaingrove January 8, 1862, daughter of John and Sarah Offutt Pollock, and her lifetime was passed in that vicinity. She was a faithful member of the Plaingrove Presbyterian church. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Stevenson of Plaingrove and Mrs. Dight and three grandchildren, James Stevenson of Durham, N. C., Kenneth Dight of Los Angeles Cal., and Paul Max Dight of Plaingrove. Her Husband died May 7, 1928. Funeral services will be conducted at Mrs. Dight's home Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Presbyterian minister, Rev. j. Leslie Bell in charge. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.
