Taftville - Lillie M. Clark of 24 North 5th Ave. passed away Wednesday evening at W.W. Backus Hospital.

She was born in Norwich December 29, 1926 the daughter of John and Alice (Hurst) Morgan. A lifelong resident of the Norwich area Lillie was united in marriage to Albert Bagienski. He passed away August 18, 1956. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the Salvation Army and was an avid bingo player at Wequonnoc Village with her friends.

Lillie is survived by two sons Gerald Clark of Taftville and Robert Clark of Jewett City, three daughters Susan Lawton of Norwich, Irene Wirhol of Preston and Linda Kennison of Taftville, her brother Ray Morgan of Uncasville, her sister Betty Gauvin of Greenwood, SC, eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers John J. Morgan and Raymond Morgan.

The family wishes to thank Pam of Masonic Care for the care Lillie received. All are invited to attend a Graveside Service at St. Joseph's Cemetery Norwich Monday at 11:30 A.M. Calling hours at Godere Funeral Home 21 North 2nd Ave. Taftville are Sunday 5-7 P.M. Published in Norwich Bulletin on April 1, 2011
