Services for Clarence T. Anderson, 98, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park St., Elgin.
Born Oct. 6, 1900, in Elgin, the son of Anton and Christine (nee Nelson) Anderson, he died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1999, at Maplewood. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Elgin, he is survived by his daughters, Ruth Rynders of DeKalb and Vivian Anderson of Elk Grove Village; sons, Donald (Sara) Anderson of Texas and Jimmy Anderson of Nevada; 10 grandchildren; 27 greatgrandchildren; and 14 great-greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lula; infant son, Marvin James; sons, Lyle and David; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services Monday, at the funeral home.
