Adam was born in to the Lithuanian family of Lithuanian Nobility and his father was Noble Adomas Zubavicius and mother was Kazimiera Burnickytė.
He came to the United States in 1911 and settled in Cook Co., Chicago. Going to work for a local Iron Co. in the Chicago area. His brother Leonas (Leon) Zubavich who also came to the Chicago area. Not speaking English well, his name would be interpreted by agencies differently over the years Adam Zubawice. Married Marcele (nee: Zubaviciute) from another Noble family from Lithuania. Having only one child of Nobility between them. Daughter Aldona Marcella Zubavich who was born in Chicago, Illinois. Retiring and moving from Chicago to Phoenix, AZ in the late 1950's until his death from a major stroke in 1963.
