Donna Lynn Williams-Shea, 31, of Laurel passed away on Friday, November 24th, while at the Prince Georges Co. Hospital. She was the daughter of Earl DeShields Rutland of Memphis TN and Aldona Marcella Zubavich of Chicago, Illinois. Lynn was born July 8th, 1947 in Los Angeles, Lynn was a very special lady who was a loving, caring person.
Linda was a graduate of the class of 1964 from Howard High School, Ellicott City, Maryland.
Lynn married a United States Airman, Gerald Timothy "Tim" Shea, of Glens Falls, New York (Air Force Based in Fort Mead, MD) on April 16, 1966 at the Emanual United Methodist Church in Dorsey, MD. They settled in laurel, MD and raised their two children, a son Todd and a daughter Tamara who survive her.
She is survived by her maternal Grandmother Marcele Zubawicius of Pheonix, AZ., Paternal Grandmother Maude Turberville-Rutland of Memphis, TN, mother Aldona (aka; Sherry Williams) of Phoenix, AZ, a half brother; John H DeFord Williams of Columbia, MD., Good friend, Gail Evans-Turney of Laurel. And several Rutland family aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins in Tennessee.
A visitation will be held at Donaldson Funeral Home, Laurel, MD. Interment service will follow at the Emmanual United Methodist Church Cemetery on Old Scaggsville Rd, Laurel, MD.
