Alfred G. Carrick, 65, of 300 Fairway Dr., Columbus died Saturday, Sept. 17, 1983, in Riverside Hospital there. He was born Oct. 22, 1917, in Seneca County (near McCormick) to Brett and Mary Alice (Correll) Carrick. He married Elizabeth Heimrick and they were later divorced.
Surviving are a son and a daughter, two brothers, Brett, of Tiffin and Gerald of McCutchenville, a sister, Mrs. Ralph (Olive) Knaup of Tiffin; and, two grandsons. Another brother and sister are deceased.
A resident of Columbus for twenty years, Mr. Carrick had been a sergeant in the Ohio State Patrol for twenty years and later worked for eight years at the Department of Alcohol and Testing in Columbus. He was a member of Wyandot Lodge 314, F & AM in McCutchenville. He was also a WWII Army veteran.
