Born in Waterloo, daughter of the late
J. W. Cannon and Nancy Clardy Cannon, she lived her 30 years and was a Methodist, but attended the Whitehall Church of God. Her husband died in 1952.
Surviving are two sisters, Pearl Minyard of Greenville, and Mrs. R. T. Cunningham of Greenwood; and two brothers J. C. Cannon, of the home and W. O. Cannon of Waterloo.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 3 p.m at Whitehall Church of God by the Rev. John Warren, the Rev. Lloyd Browning and the Rev. William T Grimsted. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Robert Tolbert, Ira Bostic, Paul Lawrence Marler Sr., Thomas Cromer, Martin Gains and Robert Lowe.
Honorary escort will be the Ladies Sunday School class of White Hall Church of God. The body is at Blyth Funeral Home and will be taken to the home Thursday at 9:30 a.m. and placed in the church at 2 p.m. Thursday.
