Mrs. Emma May Swim died Sunday morning at 10 o'clock of cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 50 years, eight months and 23 days. She became ill after falling from a chair on Friday. The funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the home, Rev. J. B. Stubblefield, pastor of the United Brethren Circuit Church, conducting the services, and interment in Washington Cemetery in Cumberland County. Mrs. Swim was born in Coles County and had lived at her home in Johnson Township where she passed away, for four years. Deceased is survived by her husband, John Swim, and two half-sisters.
