"Ferris, Nathaniel, sometimes called Jr., late of Greenwich, Apr. 19, 1824, letters of administration on his estate granted to Jonathan Finch and Charles Smith for Greenwich, who were ordered to advertise for claims, pages 22 and 31.

Inventory taken Apr. 21, 1824, by David Wood, Jared Smith, and Charles Smith, and filed July 1, 1824, page 31. May 1, 1824, dower of his widow, Permelia Ferris, set out, page 32. Oct. 20, 1824, necessaries allowed his widow, page 33. Dec. 22, 1824, account filed, and real estate ordered sold to pay debts, page 45. Jan. 1, 1825, real estate ordered sold to Arza Marshall, and report of sale filed, page 45.

Mar. 11, 1825, his widow, Permelia Ferris, appointed guardian of Harry, Lydia Ann, Rebecca, and Lockwood, children of decedent, page 58.

Mar. 11, 1825, estate ordered distributed to James Riley, Marilda Mead, Catherine, Clara, Nathaniel, William, Edwin or Edmond, Harry, Lydia Ann, Rebecca, and Lockwood, children of decedent, page 64. Mar. 23, 1825, estate distributed accordingly, page 64."
