Miss Leah Showalter who had been ailing for over a year, died at her home a short distance south of Reedsburg last Thursday night at 10 o'clock. She was aged 87 years, 6 months and 21 days.
She leaves to mourn her loss two sisters, one in the west and Mrs. Mary Speck of New Pittsburg, and nephews and nieces, besides neighbors and friends. Funeral preached at the house Saturday afternoon. Interment in Eight Square Cemetery.
