Kingwood, Texas/Teasdale, Utah - Joseph Marden Jackson, age 67, of Kingwood, Texas, passed away April 8, 2011.

He was born August 22, 1943 in Richfield, Utah, a son of Ernest Hans and Golda Peterson Jackson. He grew up in Teasdale and graduated from Wayne High School, Class of 1957.

He married Pamela Mitchell July 23, 1966 in Seattle, Washington. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple July 26, 1966. Joe and Pam lived in Florida and Texas, where they raised their children. He was an active member of the LDS Church.

Joe made his living as a general contractor. He was a devoted caretaker of his wife Pam and he'll be remembered as a true cowboy who loved his yearly fishing trips to Alaska.

Joe is survived by his wife of 44 years, Pamela Jackson of Kingwood, Texas; his daughters: Nicole and David Morgan of Tampa, Florida; Heather and Adam Morse and Jennifer Jackson, all of Houston,Texas; grandchildren, Emily Morse, Cole Morgan and Noah Morse; brothers: Sherland and Charleen Jackson of Orem; Bertrand and Margaret Jackson of Pleasant Grove; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Teasdale LDS Cultural Hall, where friends may visit with the family from 11:30 to 12:30 prior to the services.

Burial will be in the Teasdale Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah
