Donald M. Curry, 77, died Wednesday, December 27, 1989 in Collingsworth General Hospital.

Mr. Curry was born June 14, 1912 in Wellington. He was the son of the late R.F. Curry and Lawrence Alice Stall Curry. Mr. Curry was a former longetime employee of the Postal Service and a former Wellington Assistant Postmaster. He retired in 1977. His grandfather, "Pappy Scale", preached the first sermon in Collingsworth County.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma Curry of Wellington, two daughters, Donna Tarver of Dallas, and Joyce Snider of Lawton, Oklahoma; one sister, Virginia Ghulson of Wellington; two nieces, Nell Gordon of Hunt, and June Tompkins of Phoenix, Arizona. there are three grandchildren, Larry Snider, John D. Snider and Rebecca Snider, all of Lawton, Oklahoma; three great-grandchildren and a son-in-law, Maxie and Cheryl Tarver.
