Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Nocona with Rev. Dave Woodbury and Buddy Lee officiating. Burial will be in Nocona Cemetery under the direction of Jerry Woods Funeral Home of Nocona.
Mrs. Howard was a homemaker.
Survivors include husband, Joe Weldon (Jody) Howard of Wichita Falls; sons, Ed of Iowa Park, Dan of Lubbock, Texas, Ronnie of Sugarland, Texas; daughter, Janie Swinney of Midland, Texas; sister, Sue Vanderslice of Pittsburgh, Texas; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
