Preceded in death by her parents, Dolores Meza and Joseph A. Jordan; her sisters Bertha Bertha Jordan, Beulah Jordan Mason, Dolores Jordan Barthe, and Sister Mary Luke Jordan, S.S.N.D.
Survivors included 30 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Note: Five of her siblings joined religious orders: Rev. Fr. Lawrence E. Jordan, S.M. worked in Peru, South America; Bernice became Sister Mary Luke, S.S.N.D.; Thelma was first known as Sister Mary DeSales, later Sister Mary Thelma, O.S.F.; Myrtle became Sister Mary Lolita, O.S.F., and Ethelberta became Sister Mary Aidan, S.S.N.D.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, 25 April 1979 at McMahon Coburn Briede Funeral Home, 600 Moss Street, New Orleans, Louisiana, with Mass at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Metairie, Louisiana.
Interment in Hope Mausoleum, New Orleans, Louisiana.
