Funeral services for Mrs. Ada Trisler Bottom, 26, were held Sunday afternoon at the Harrodsburg Baptist church of which she was a member with burial in Spring Hill cemetery. Mrs. Bottom died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Trisler, Sr., Magoffin avenue at 5:30 o'clock Friday morning, Nov. 9, 1934. She had been ill of tuberculosis.
The daughter of Marion and Sophronia Goodlett Trisler, Sr., Mrs. Bottom was born in Mercer county. She is survived by her husband, G. B. Bottom; her parents; one brother, Marion Trisler, Jr., and several uncles and aunts.
Services were conducted at 2;30 o'clock with Rev. G. Whitcomb Ellers assisted by Rev. T. Hassell Bowen, officiating. Honorary pall bearers were members of the Althean Sunday school class.Bearers were, Joseph, Otis, and Dennis Simpson; John C., William and Joseph Trisler. Many persons attended the rites while a great number of floral offerings filled the pulpit platform.
