DAVENPORT -- Jackson H. Accola, 69, Davenport, died Friday, April 7, 2000, at Genesis Medical Center-East Campus, Davenport.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
Visitation is 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport.
He retired in 1987 as a district chief for the Davenport Fire Department, after 35 years.
He was born June 18, 1930, in Davenport. He married Cheryll Goettsch in 1955 in Davenport.
Memorials may be made to the church, or Genesis Visiting Nurses.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryll; a daughter, Jill Henderkott, Davenport; sons, Lon and Lance, both of Davenport; two granddaughters; and a sister, Ursula Henning, Davenport.
