Bertha Irene Baswell Jackson, 97, of Marietta died Sunday. Funeral 2 P.M. Wednesday, Olive Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Bobby Jones officiating. Burial Mountain View, Marietta.
An Alabama native, Ms. Jackson moved to Georgia in 1908. She was a homemaker, and was the oldest living member of Olive Springs Baptist Church and was a member of "A Grandmothers Club".
Survivors three daughters, Dorothy G. Knox, Marietta, Irene G. Hopkins, Silver Creek, Eleanor J. Wayland, Rome; 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 7 til 9 P.M. Monday at Hay-Gantt Funeral Home, Marietta.
