Pembroke - Thomas Noah Dixon, 72, died Monday at his residence here after a short illness. He was a painter and a member of the Lanier Baptist Church near here.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nina Windham Dixon of Pembroke; three daughters, Mrs. Alaine Callaway of Manassas, Mrs. Nell Berry of Evant, Texas, and Miss Pat Dixon of Pembroke; eight sisters, Mrs. Irene Bracewell of Dublin, Mrs. Vesta Bracewell of Milan, Mrs. Robbie Bracewell of Amarillo, Texas, Mrs. Billie Watts and Mrs. Faye Underwood, both of Rincon; and Mrs. Louise Pearson of Orlando, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Morrison Funeral Home in Pembroke, burial in Northside Cemetery.
