Bonnie Jean Boyd Yeager, 79, of Powder Springs, passed away March 29, 2011. Bonnie was born to P.T. and Rilla Hembree Boyd. She graduated from Austell High School, class of 1949. She worked as the manger of the Clarkdale pool and in the office of the Coats and Clark Co. In Dec. 1950 she married Thomas Frazier Yeager. They were married for 60 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a lifetime member of the Clarkdale United Methodist Church, where she sang soprano in the choir. She is survived by husband Thomas F. Yeager, son, Barry Yeager of Powder Springs; daughter, Beth Yeager Biggs and husband Tim of Mariemont OH, grandchildren, Lauren Yeager, Brenna Biggs, Bryan Biggs, great-grandson, Carmen Yeager, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 1, 2pm at Davis Struempf Chapel. Interment will be in Powder Springs Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Clarkdale United Methodist Church, PO Box 3, Clarkdale GA 30111. Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Thurs, March 31, at Davis Streumpf Funeral Home & Crematory, Austell GA.
