First woman to jump from an airplane on June 21, 1913. Was called "Tiny Broadwick" because she was only 4' tall and weighed 80lbs.∼She was born Georgia Ann Thompson and took the surname Broadwick when she was adopted by Charles Broadwick.

She was the first woman to parachute from an airplane and the first woman to parachute into water. She was also the first person to jump with a parachute from a hydroplane and the first person to demonstrate parachutes to the US government.

She became the only female member of the Early Birds of Aviation.

She was awarded the Pioneer Aviation Award, the John Glenn Medal, and Gold Wings by the Adventurer's Club of LA.
