Obituary - John P. Dell Dies; Funeral on Tuesday. John P. Dell, 76, of 63 Hall Street died at 3:15 am today in Mercy Hospital. He had been ill for 2 months and his condition was critical during the past two weeks. A retired railroad supervisor Mr. Dell had resided in Tiffin since he came here in 1910 from Hicksville. He was born in Delaware Bend, Ohio; on April 23, 1863, to John & Margaret (Etchen) Dell. He was married at Delaware Bend Oct 27, 1885, to Mary E. Bockey and is survived by his wife, 6 daughters, Lottie Dell and Mrs. William Taylor, Tiffin; Celia and Geneva at home, Mrs. Raymond Hahn, Carey; and Mrs. Hubert Hipple, Toledo; one brother, Nicholas Dell, Sherwood, 7 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services are to be held at 8 a.m. Tuesday, in St. Marys Catholic Church, of which the deceased was a member. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The Body will lie in state in the Hoffman Memorial where friends may call.
