Copeland, Helen Gray On Thursday, January 23, 1969 at her residence, Dickerson, Md., MRS HELEN G. COPELAND, beloved wife of Mr. William Copeland and mother of Mrs. Etta Melton, Mrs. Vansant Willis and James V. Gray. She also is survived by six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Esther Brown; one brother Chester Coates; a devoted daughter-in-law; one son-in-law, many other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 26 from 5 to 8 p.m., at Snowden Funeral Home, 246 N. Washington at Rockville, Md. After 9:30 a.m. Monday, January 27, remains will lie in state at the Union Wesley AME Zion Church, 1860 Michigan ave. n.e. until funeral time at 12 noon, Rev. George L. Smith, pastor. Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Family at 4523 9th st. n.w.
