Benjamin David McCormick
Benjamin "Ben" David McCormick, 75, of Beach Park, died Sunday, April 3, 2011, at home after a long battle with prostate cancer.
He was born Sept. 15, 1935 in Zion to Christopher Benjamin and Mildred Josephine (Howard) McCormick. He graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School in 1953.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from Jan. 7, 1957 to Jan. 6, 1960. On Aug. 5, 1961, he married Anna Belle (Ann) Garrison of Waukegan, (formerly of Harrisburg, Ill.) at Lakeshore Tabernacle in Kenosha, Wis. He retired from Cub Foods of Waukegan in September 1997.
