He is the son of Jacob Roth and Anne Elizabeth Portzen. He married Christina Catherina Billheimer in 1774 Moore Twp., Northampton Co., PA. They are the parents of 8 children. He was Lutheran. There is a Madalin next to his grave stating that he fought in the Revolutionary War. According to the Pa. archives volume 8 (fifth series) Conrad Roth served under Captain Jacob Heller in the Second Battalion of the third company during the years of 1781 and 1782. Conrad's rank was 2nd class. He and his wife are buried in the Salem Union graveyard in Pa. Northampton County, Pennsylvania Church Records, 1774-1840
