Terry S. (Andy) Anderson, 65, of Dale City, Va., passed away on March 31, 2011 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Elizabeth Anderson, and his brothers John and Frank Anderson.

Andy was born Oct. 7, 1945 in Williamsport, Pa. He was a 1963 graduate of Williamsport Area High School and he retired with 20 years of service from the United States Coast Guard. When not on the golf course Andy could always be found watching his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Phillies, and Penn State Nittany Lions. Among one of his greatest joys in life was being Grandpa to his 13 grandchildren.

Andy is survived by his wife of 28 years, Eunice, his daughter, Kirsten Sargent (Jamie), of Williamsport, Pa., his sons, Eric Anderson (Amanda), of Jersey Shore, Pa., Bob Hood (Tomasina), of Virginia Beach, Va., and Mike Hood (Katherine), of Fredericksburg, Va., and his brother James Anderson, of Coeur de'Alene, Idaho.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 4, at 6 p.m. at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City, Va. He will be interred at Quantico National Cemetery on Tuesday, April 5, at 9 a.m.
