Marcus Flinn

Marcus Dale Flinn, 84, of Batesville died Thursday, April 7, 2011, in a Batesville hospital.

Born Oct. 21, 1926, in Batesville, he was the son of Eugene and Ada Marie Chatman Flinn. He was a barber for 38 years and was a member of Harrison Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Reta Flinn; two nephews, Ted Hyslip and Johnny Ray Hyslip of Ash Flat; and several great-nephews and great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral will be at noon Monday at Willis Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Tom German officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mike Collins, John Treece, David Dame, Collie Shaw, Phillip Lloyd and Paul Mitchell.

Honorary pallbearers are the men of Harrison Street Church of Christ.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday.
